Beginner and Intermediate Class, Wednesday, July 23, 1 to 5 pm

Explore your creativity and connect with our maritime location while learning to make your basket from recycled crab fishing rope. You will be provided with materials and up-close instruction by Beach Basket creator and artist Susan Spence. These small, friendly classes are held in the Marie Powell Gallery and Workshop, overlooking the picturesque Port of Ilwaco and the Ilwaco fishing fleet.

This class is for first-time beginners and returning students who want to refresh skills and learn more control.
