Join us on July 26th for the Art Exhibition Fish On! Subjects will include depictions and abstractions of our local fish species, as well as renditions of our local fisherman, tourists, and fishing boats.  Even fishing gear may be included in the artists’ creations!  

Saturday is packed with activity across the peninsula. Early in the day, runners and walkers participate in Ilwaco’s Firecracker 5K, a fun & energetic way to start the holiday. The Ilwaco Saturday Market brings local crafts, food, and music to the port, while families and visitors make their way north to Ocean Park for the beloved Ocean Park Parade at 1 p.m. This classic, small-town parade captures the spirit of coastal community life, with floats, local organizations, and plenty of patriotic flair!

Join us for the Long Beach Friday Market, where local vendors, food stands, and artisans create a festive atmosphere in downtown Long Beach. Then gather at dusk for one of the region’s most beloved traditions: The Ilwaco fireworks display at dusk!

Painting the Peninsula Red, White, and Blue in Ilwaco, a community kickoff, launches the long holiday weekend. The evening will feature Gallery Day, where visitors can explore a map of participating galleries, artisans, pop-ups, and creative spaces across the peninsula. It’s the perfect opportunity to stroll through coastal towns, discover local artists, and experience the creative spirit that defines the Evergreen Coast.

75th Loyalty Days Parade
Parade Honoring Service Women with over 100 entries from all over SW WA + an exciting Coast Guard fly-over on Sunday. Live music and activities at Veteran's Field before and after the big event!

Blessing of the Fleet

Join the Blessing of the Fleet procession! Traditions of the Blessing include the Coast Guard dropping a wreath from their helicopter while a prayer is said over the radio for our local fisherman
