FLOWERS

Have you ever given or received a gift of flowers?  For most people, it’s a rather emotional experience.I believe flowers are symbolic for many opposites:New life… lost life Success…. disappointment New love…. lost love Hellos…. goodbyes. Flowers foster memories from the first dandelion picked by a toddler and handed to someone special, to the bouquet caught at the wedding, to the bouquet miraculously appearing in the hospital room, to the corsage pinned on the party dress, to the flower left as a final wish for peace. In my art, I create flowers with deep connection, emotion, and care.~~~Marie Powell

Have you ever given or received a gift of flowers?  For most people, it’s a rather emotional experience.

I believe flowers are symbolic for many opposites:

New life… lost life
Success…. disappointment
New love…. lost love
Hellos…. goodbyes.

Flowers foster memories from the first dandelion picked by a toddler and handed to someone special, to the bouquet caught at the wedding, to the bouquet miraculously appearing in the hospital room, to the corsage pinned on the party dress, to the flower left as a final wish for peace.

In my art, I create flowers with deep connection, emotion, and care.
